This is a remarkable album of photos taken very early in the Korean War by a member of the 8035th Signal Detachment named Don Colton. They ran and maintained UHF frequency relay stations between Korea and Japan. These slides were part of a lot of almost 900 slides taken mainly in Japan in the 1950s. These precious images were left as trash after Mr. Colton died, by his family. Fortunately, they were saved by the source I purchased them from. I wish there had been more of these Korean slides. I will do a seperate album of his Japan slides later. I want to thank the seller of these slides fro tracking down the name of the photographer.
